EcoMarine Institute works to study, protect and conserve marine wildlife, habitats and ecosystems through research, education and service with an emphasis on a conservation medicine approach. Conservation medicine is an emerging, interdisciplinary field that studies the relationship between human and animal health and environmental conditions. We recognize that the health of humans, animals, sea life and the environment are intricately connected and we encourage a multi-disciplinary approach to promote a healthier and more sustainable future, both locally and globally.
